On October 25, 2024, Vaulta has proudly been included in the five winners of the Australian Innovation Competition.
This competition was fierce, with over 180 entries spanning various fields like health, energy, agriculture, manufacturing, software, social, environmental, resources and industrial applications.
Vaulta was recognised for our long duration battery storage product, which uses advanced composite materials and a smart, streamlined design for its casing that condenses multiple functions into fewer parts.
“The competition has shown again the creative and technological talent locally and the opportunity for Australia to become a world leader in innovation across so many areas,” said Alex Blood, the Head Judge for the Australian Innovation Competition.
In the words of our founder, Dominic Spooner “We’re truly humbled and over the moon to get this recognition in the Australian Innovation Competition. We’ve got more exciting things in the works and we’re proud to have this as a step in our journey.”
“As a judge, I am truly impressed by the level of innovation and technological prowess demonstrated by the Australian Innovation Competition. The cutting-edge solutions and advancements showcased by these talented individuals and companies are a testament to the boundless possibilities of human ingenuity,” said Fiona Holmstrom of STEM Punks.
“In the 4th Industrial Revolution that is today’s rapidly evolving world, it is crucial for us to embrace and celebrate innovation. Many of the applicants, including Vaulta, have not only harnessed the power of technology to address pressing challenges but have also expanded the boundaries of what is possible. Their commitment to pushing the envelope and exploring new frontiers is nothing short of inspiring,” she said.
We extend our congratulations to the other four winners – Earflo, Innofocus Photonics Technology Pty Ltd, CAT – Ripen Tech and Zondii. We also tip our hats to the other outstanding finalists.
